It’s not just PC gamers who can modify their game of Skyrim, PlayStation 4 users can also. So today we’re taking a look at some of the best immersion mods that enhance the game and make it feel more realistic.
This mod causes frost and wetness to show on your skin when in the rain, snow or after swimming. It also disappears when the weather clears up or when you go inside. It’s a great little immersion mod however, this only affects the players. NPCs do not react like this to weather which can be a little immersion breaking.

If you thought the plain vanilla dragons are dull then this is the mod for you. It doesn’t change their mechanics but it does change their appearance. It adds 55 different appearances to the game for the player to encounter in battles. So it adds a touch of realism to how each dragon looks and stops you from fighting dragons that look exactly the same.

It greatly improves the AI of friendly NPC’s in the game. As a result, they will act more like real humans in regards to their environment and to enemies. They will run from enemies to find a safe space and will also behave in a more unpredictable fashion by having different behaviours for each day of the in-game week.

This may seems like an odd mod to include but if you actually think about it, you’d agree it does increase immersion. This mod fixes and adds more road signs to the roads of Skyrim so you’ll always be able to find your way around without needing to use the map. It’s perfect for those who don’t like to fast travel and would rather follow the roads to their destination.
