Like to play Magic but don’t want the super-competitive atmosphere? Come hang out with us on Thursday night for Casual Precon Commander. We meet up, split into pods and play. No scorekeeping and the only prizes are bragging rights. This evening is perfect for beginners, those getting back into Magic, friends just having fun, making friends and playtesting new decks.
Completely new to Magic? No problem!! We’re happy to teach you how to play.
Precons: Dive into the world of Magic with decks boasting 2-3 basic strategies. These decks may feature synergies that complement each other or stand alone. With mana bases comprising lots of taplands, the focus is on cultivating a robust board state. Prepare for epic battles where every creature and artifact matters!
Strong Precons: Step up your game with more finely-tuned decks, albeit with mana bases that may still need some optimization, especially in multicolored decks. While some decks may have specific win conditions in mind, many rely on intricate combos involving three or more cards. Keep your wits sharp as you navigate through drawing, tutoring, and strategically deploying your resources!
